City Science Responds to Government Call for Evidence on Greenhouse Gas Removals (GGRs)

At City Science, we’re proud to have submitted our response to the UK Government’s recent Call for Evidence on Greenhouse Gas Removals (GGRs).

Why GGRs Matter

GGR technologies are widely to accepted to be necessary in supporting the UK’s path to net zero. These technologies are essential to balance residual emissions from sectors that are difficult to decarbonise, such as aviation, agriculture, and some industrial processes.

City Science’s Expertise

We offer industry-leading insight into Direct Air Capture and Carbon Storage (DACCS) given our recent work for the UK’s CCC and Scotland’s CXC. Our response to this call for evidence on GGRs focusses on DACCS given our expertise in this technology.
