City Science have secured funding from Innovate UK to develop a novel suite of Digital Twin modelling tools within transport. The project is taking place in collaboration with the University of Exeter and intelligent telematics company Lightfoot. The project will build will enable City Science to integrate Digital Twins at multiple scales, enabling transport professions to evaluate a much wider range of ‘what-if’ scenarios quickly and effectively. By combining real-time telematics and optimisation expertise, the project will also demonstrate real-world applications of these new tools such as faster journey times and reduced emissions.
